HG descaler for espresso & pod-coffee machines based on lactic acid based on lactic acid has been developed especially for removing scale from different types of espresso and coffee-pod machines. HG “descaler” based on lactic acid works safely and quickly; it is odour-free and fully biodegradable.
With regular use of this HG “descaler”, the coffee continues to taste well, the machine retains its speed, and you extend the life of your espresso or pod-coffee machine.
Directions for use:
Pour 125 ml HG “descaler” in the water reservoir and fill it up to 750ml water (6x diluted). If the water reservoir is smaller than 750 ml, pour 100 ml HG “descaler” in the water reservoir and fill it up to 600 ml water (6x diluted). Leave this solution to work for 10 minutes. Then turn the machine on and let half of the liquid run through. Switch the machine off, leave the product to work for 10 minutes, and then let the rest of the liquid run through until the reservoir is completely empty. After treatment, rinse the machine at least 3x with clean tap water.
If you have a pod-coffee machine, put a pod holder with a used coffee pod in the machine to collect possible scale. This prevents any blockages in the outflow. If not all scale was removed, repeat the treatment. For descaling normal coffee makers, kettles, and washing machines, we recommend HG “quick descaler’’.
125 or 100 ml per descaling treatment, depending on the volume of the water reservoir of the espresso or coffee-pod machine. 1 bottle is sufficient for 4 or 5 treatments.
NB: Do not breathe in any vapours from the machine! Prevent long-term contact with stainless steel and aluminium. Always read the instructions of your equipment before use. Do not use on calciferous and non acid-resistant surfaces, such as marble, Belgian bluestone, etc.
