HG natural stone protector (product 33)

HG natural stone protector is an easy to apply polymer emulsion. This emulsion forms a wafer-thin glossy yet extremely protective coating. Perfect for protecting marble or other natural stone and giving it a glossy shine.

How do you use HG natural stone protector? Follow the steps below to protect your natural stone floor against wear and tear and other damages with HG natural stone protector (HG product 33): 

1. The surface must be completely clean and free of grease and dust.

2. The glue/cement and grouting of new floors must be completely hardened and dry. The drying time is usually 4-6 weeks.

3. Existing floors must be well dried after cleaning. The underfloor heating must be switched off for at least 12 hours prior to the treatment with this product.

4. Preferably apply with a wax applicator for even application. It is also possible to use a lint-free, clean tea towel wrapped around a squeegee. On coarse floors, use a paint roller (fur roller), taking care to avoid excessive foaming during application.

5. Dilute the liquid 1:1 with cold water, then pour the liquid over the floor and apply evenly in one direction without putting pressure on the wax applicator or roller.

6. Once the product has dried (after about 40 minutes), a second layer can be applied crosswise onto the first layer.

7. The floor can be walked on about 3 hours after the final treatment and has completely hardened after 3 days.

Coverage: ± 60-80 m² per litre per layer.

For regular mopping: HG natural stone cleaner shine restorer (product 37). 

Attention:

• In new floors which have not yet been impregnated to reduce their porosity, we recommend you first treat the floor using HG natural stone impregnating protector (product 32). 

• This protective film can be simply removed using the HG natural stone cleaner extra strong (product 40).  

• Do not apply to surfaces treated with HG natural stone protector (product 35). 

• Only for use indoors. This product is not suitable for use on wet surfaces, such as the shower area of the bathroom.
